This comes a day after the business and tennis great Rafael Nadal agreed to a three-year relationship. With his coaching staff, the business is creating a comparable game analysis tool to kick off a three-year partnership with the legendary Spanish tennis player.
“I believe the key consideration for any brand while choosing an ambassador is to ensure strategic clarity along with credible association and values alignment. Infosys has a very storied history. The founders and leadership of our company have built a strong foundation of very distinct values and a culture that has prevailed over the past four decades,” said Sumit Virmani, global chief marketing officer at Infosys.
“And therefore, we were very mindful to onboard brand ambassadors who will serve to amplify the unique Infosys positioning, to a broader audience globally, and truly represent the sort of company we are and the sort of company we aspire to be,” Virmani, who is also executive vice president, told ET.
The Bengaluru-based company has previously served as the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, ATP Tour, and International Tennis Hall of Fame's digital innovation partner.
